aerial Roughly 500,000 LEGO® bricks take the shape of the CU-Boulder campus in the Heritage Center’s newest exhibit: “Hit the Bricks!” 

Beginning Sep. 21, 2015 the “Hit the Bricks” LEGO exhibit will be closed for new construction. 
Catch a preview of the new additions over Family Weekend, Thursday through Sunday, October 1-4
from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. During these four days behind-the-scenes accesswill be available. The exhibit will reopen on October 12.


The CU Heritage Center at the University of Colorado Boulder is located on the third floor of Old Main on campus and is operated by the CU-Boulder Alumni Association. The Heritage Center is open Monday through Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. The Heritage Center is closed for all university holidays.

The gallery is now OPEN but only has limited artifacts.

The purpose of the CU Heritage Center is to collect, preserve and interpret material culture and documentary resources illustrative of the history of the University of Colorado Boulder. Such materials, information and other means will be used for research, publications, exhibitions and education with the goal of increasing public awareness, understanding and an appreciation of the human heritage of the university.
