Annual Tree Walk on CU-Boulder Campus
Discover the natural beauty of the campus with Alan Nelson, CU grounds supervisor. This delightful annual event takes participants through the campus to learn about over 45 different types of trees. Some of the trees, including the majestic 100-year old cottonwood outside Old Main, are native to this region, while others were imported from the east coast, the southern U.S., Europe and Asia, and are rarely seen in Colorado except on CU grounds.
Following the Tree Walk, participants are invited to a reception at the CU Heritage Center, the University’s history museum on the third floor of Old Main. Alan will be present to answer any additional questions.
Come rain or shine!
This is event is free to the public; donations welcome.
